Hi! I’m Jaazanias, but please call me JJ. I’m a Writer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’m currently attaining my B.A. in Creative Writing w/ Minor in Video Game Design at San Francisco State University, graduating this May 21st, 2026!

I’ve been a writer my whole life, with my interests revolving around sci-fi and fantasy. I’ve always wanted to write for video games ever since I played on the PlayStation 2, writing down my own dialogue on scraps of paper as a kid and ad-libbing it to my muted TV when a cutscene would play. This has led me to now writing for games and working with wonderful teams such as Starfox Interactive, Time’s Up Productions, and Frenzy Forge Studios.

Beyond gaming, I’m also an online writer having published my own fanfiction online for games that I love, creating zines about zany things, drawing storyboards, shooting short films, sketching terrible comics, and making my own boardgames.
